According to E. Beckung (Probability of walking in children with cerebral palsy in Europe-2008) 54% of children with Cerebral Palsy (CP) can walk without aids,16% of patients will need assistive devices to walk and 30% are not able to walk at 5 years of age. TOM

The reduction of bad odours on textiles is an important means to improve the wear comfort, product quality and lifetime of those textile products that are hard to clean on a regular basis.

MDTex aims to create a cross-border French-Belgian cluster in the field of medical textiles. By combining their networks and competences, the partners will remove the borders between the "health" and "textiles" value chains in order to unite the necessary spear point expertise and technologies to develop products.
