2017 announces itself as a fine year to introduce a patent application according to the recent messages on the changes in fiscal deductions for innovation targeted on patent products. The law that will be retroactively applicable on July 1, 2016 has now been presented to the council of state.
So, we expect to inform you soon, at the beginning of 2017, on these interesting changes.
In the meantime it looks as if patent applications qualify for a tax deduction for innovation, a major change compared to the present system.

Centexbel, the scientific and technical research centre of the Belgian textile industry, is an institution recognised by the application of the Royal Decree of January 30th, 1947 (a.k.a. "Law De Groote"). Its mission - in close co-operation with Fedustria - is to promote research and technological development with the intention of enhancing the cost-effectiveness, quality and production capacity of the Belgian textile industry.
