Textiles with a variety of integrated sensors for comfort assessment, remote heath monitoring, and home healthcare The MEDIATIC project aims at integrating a large variety of sensors into textiles in view of realising two concrete applications:

• optimisation of the comfort assessment of workwear and medical clothing by integrating temperature and moisture sensors. The comfort tests will be run in climate rooms on thermal manikins as well as on live persons. The measurements will be completed with infrared thermographs.
• remote health monitoring, home healthcare, remote medicine and remote socio-medical assistance In view of this application, various physiological sensors, falling detectors, and positioning systems will be integrated into a garment.
