Coating & Finishing Technologies add new functions, features or properties to materials (textiles, plastics, paper, composites, etc.) by changing their surface chemistry or structure to meet the requirements of the final application. These new functions, features or properties include waterproofing, breathability, antimicrobial properties, hydrophobicity, flame retardancy, conductivity, and others.

  • High-Performance Materials are created by applying finishes or coatings to substrates to improve or modify their properties and performance.
  • Sustainability includes the use of renewable materials and non-hazardous chemicals and additives (REACH, CLP compliant), energy and water efficient production methods and product longevity.
