Centexbel at BEDEX
BEDEX
At the heart of the European institutions and NATO, BEDEX is an event for the Belgian and European defence industry, bringing together 200 exhibitors and +35 international delegations.
On Thursday, 12 March at 10:15 a.m., Flanders Make, Fedustria and Centexbel signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This will further deepen the collaboration between the three organisations for the textile, wood and furniture industry.
The signing took place in the presence of Flemish Minister-President and Minister of Industry Matthias Diependaele, at the Flanders Investment & Trade booth (Hall 7, booth 529).
Flanders Make is the strategic research centre that supports innovation and technological development in the Flemish manufacturing industry. Collaboration with Fedustria and with Centexbel, the knowledge centre for the textile sector, is essential to bring innovation projects to companies more quickly and efficiently. At the same time, through Fedustria, companies can directly feed back their technological needs to Flanders Make.
This agreement marks the starting point of a closer and more structural cooperation framework in which technological expertise and sector insights can better connect with one another.
This afternoon, we had the honor of welcoming Matthew Whitaker, U.S. Ambassador to NATO, to BEDEX.
