Centexbel takes over VUTCH

Centexbel is expanding its presence in the global market through the recent acquisition of the Slovakian ‘Research Institute for Textile Chemistry’ (VUTCH s.r.o.), lifting its testing and certification activities to an international level.
VUTCH was founded in 1970, is based in Žilina and employs 14 people.
VUTCH is a leading textile laboratory in Slovakia and accredited by OEKO-TEX®. It also performs various physical, fire and antibacterial tests under ISO17025 and ISO17065 accreditation.
VUTCH is Notified Body #3020 for the CE marking of toys and protective clothing.
This acquisition strengthens VUTCH's OEKO-TEX® activities in Central and Eastern Europe and further expands Centexbel's global presence.
