VACUREMA® Basic Line

The “Vacurema Basic Line” is a compact version of EREMA’s VACUREMA® line, a recycling technology specialized in the thermo-mechanical processing of polyester (PET). This system is purpose-built for innovation and research in Fibre-to-Fibre Recycling, addressing the specific challenges of textile circularity.

Designed to process shredded and/or compacted textile waste, the Vacurema Basic Line integrates degassing, fine filtration, and an optional solid state polymerization (SSP) unit. These features enable the production of purified, enhanced PET granules suitable for high-quality textile applications via melt spinning.

With a typical throughput of 50 to 100 kg/h, the Vacurema Basic Line is optimized for PET but is also being evaluated for compatibility with other polymers.
