EN 149: 2001 + A1: 2009
In order to CE mark an FFP or respiratory protection mask, the notified body must ensure that the performance criteria defined in EN 149: 2001 + A1: 2009 are met.
Centexbel is a laboratory accredited by BELAC to carry out the necessary tests.
Classification levels
EN 149: 2001 + A1: 2009 distinguishes between 3 levels of classification for FFP masks, including to the penetration level of the filter layer and breathing resistance of the mask:
