The visit highlighted Centexbel’s pivotal role in testing and measurement, certification, and international standards. Centexbel not only supports the textile and plastics industry but also strengthens government efforts in customs control.

Recent initiatives include testing for consumer organization Test-Achats and contributing to the enforcement of the newly introduced so-called “2€ parcel tax”.

The delegation witnessed a series of tests, conducted in our various laboratories to assess the mechanical, chemical and fire safety of consumer products and ascertain the compliance with legal requirements and product safety standards
