Accreditation
Centexbel is EN ISI/IEC 17025 accredited by BELAC (the Belgian accreditation body).

056-TEST scope granted by BELAC
The scope consists of a fixed scope, including test and product standards, and of a flexible scope, where no specific reference to the standard is included.
Flexible Scope
Accredited tests included in the flexible scope have a specific code mentioned in the first column (e.g. B001). Centexbel has a detailed list of these tests where a direct link between the specific codes, the test and product standards can be found.
On page 30/31 of the 056-TEST scope, BELAC states:
The laboratory is authorized to determine, under accreditation, the measured properties/parameters belonging to the specified group of measured properties/parameters for the products/matrices belonging to the specified group of products/matrices, using methods that utilize the specified test or measurement principle or measurement technique. This authorization is granted on the condition that appropriate validation and/or verification has been performed in accordance with the overall validation and/or verification concept, as established in the laboratory's management system and the provisions of BELAC 2-002 and BELAC 2-101. The laboratory maintains, for each applicant, an updated and detailed list of the specific tests (in terms of specific measured properties/parameters belonging to the specified group of measured properties/parameters, specific products/matrices belonging to the specified group of products/matrices, and specific test methods) performed under accreditation.

To prevent any misuse of certificates and test reports, Centexbel has added an additional security.
Official documents are digitally signed to indicate and provide proof of their authenticity.

Certificate: designation as technical service
Designation of Centexbel as technical service by the Flemish Department of Mobility & Public Works – technical requirements to which cars, their trailers, their parts and safety accessories must comply.
