Centexbel is proud to announce that it has issued its very first certificate for a respiratory half mask (type FFP2 R D) according to EN 149 to Cambridge Environmental Solutions Ltd, Hong Kong.
The certification procedure in a nutshell
Together with a technical file (for which we can send a template) and signing an agreement with Centexbel, the customer also supplies the labels, the user instructions and 5 prototypes. After verification of the technical file, we will, in case of a positive advice, issue an EU type-examination certificate.
Since all EN 149 type masks are category III PPE, an annual follow-up inspection must also be carried out.
The customer can choose between Module C2 (sampling) and Module D (FPC audit). He or she can also contact us for both modules.
