Following the success of both previous conferences, Centexbel now organises - in collaboration with Fedustria and POM West-Vlaanderen - its third conference on Innovations In Textiles For Healthcare.

The conference addresses both the textile industry and the health care sector. The intense co-operation and co-creation between these sectors result in market developments with a distinct social and economic added value.

During the conference Centexbel organises business-to-business contacts where you have the opportunity to meet potential partners. 
For the organisation of the B2B meetings we use the tool ‘PITCH and MATCH’.  

Some days before the event you will receive an invitation and your personal ‘log in’ to complete your profile. Afterwards you can request B2B meetings with the speakers and the participants

Scientific Posters

Scientists and researchers are invited to submit scientific posters of their work covering (one of) the following items: 

  • bedding/sleep 
  • wound dressing 
  • hygiene 
  • smart applications 
  • implants 
  • revalidation 
  • temporary hospitalisation 
  • special apparel 
  • other items within the scope of the congress 

The first day of the conference, before the lunch, the scientific posters are orally presented to the audience.

Award

  • All scientific posters are reviewed and rated on the basis of scientific quality, clarity and impact. 
  • During the poster sessions a jury will select the winning poster.
  • The highest scoring scientific poster will be announced during the closing remarks. 
  • After the conference, the posters will be published on the conference website.
  • The winning poster will be put in the spotlight.

Centexbel is recognized by Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship (VLAIO) - kmo-portefeuille - # DV.O101549 and by the Walloon authorities - chèques-entreprises.

These measurements are reserved for Flanders/Wallonia based companies and fall under the EC Commission Regualtion 1998/2006 of 15 December 2006 on the application of Articles 87 and 88 of the Treaty to de minimis aid, stating that the total amount of the de-minimis support accorded to a single company may never exceed € 200.000 over a period of three successive fiscal years. If this limit is exceeded, the total sum of the service shall be paid, without any claim to this indirect state funding.
