The importance of bio-based and biodegradable materials is still growing in the European textile and plastic converting industries. Each year, new applications are being developed imposing increasingly stringent demands on mechanical properties, durability and additional functionalities, such as tailored biodegradation.
The 4th International Conference on Bio-based and Biodegradable Textiles and Plastics will identify the main changes and trends in the fields of bio-based and biodegradable textiles and plastics, and provide a comprehensive update of all aspects for commercial applications.
The conference will focus on
- Bio-based textiles and plastics
- Biodegradable solutions
- Processing of bio-based and biodegradable materials in products
- Applications of bio-based and biodegradable materials in products
- Legislation
- Testing and Standardisation
Target groups
- Producers and distributors of bio-based and biodegradable materials
- Producers of bio-based and biodegradable end products in the textile and plastic converting sectors
- Research centres and universities
- Authorities (legislation, standardisation, etc.)
