The European THREAD project has performed several experiments on our 3D Multilayer interlock braiding machine, which is part of the Textile Platform in Grâce-Hologne.
THREAD brings together young mechanical engineers and mathematicians who will develop mechanical models and numerical methods for designing highly flexible slender structures, like yarns, cables, hoses or ropes that are essential parts of high-performance engineering systems.
